The airfield is within 15 minutes of York – learn to fly at one of the most economical aircraft hire rates in the country. All are welcome – please feel free to visit. Tea & coffee is always available – come and chat to any of the Club Members or Instructors about Trial Lessons or Experience Flights. There is a friendly, informal atmosphere at Full Sutton and our hope is to make you feel at home on the ground and in the air!

    AvGas is always available on-site, we pride ourselves on being the most competitive in the country.

    Contact us if you need regular large supplies for the best deal.

• • Tuition is available

    Tuition is available for Radio work and all of the written examinations required as part of your licensing qualifications. Instructors will provide briefings before each flight and a short De-briefing session afterwards. Fast-track flight training and ground school classes can be arranged.

• • We also provide Flight Training

    We also provide Flight Training for IMC, Night Flying and Tail-Wheel Ratings as well as Type Conversions and Differences Training using our aircraft or your own. We have a fleet of aircraft for hire which includes PA28s, Cessna 150, 172’s, as well as aerobatic aircraft upon request.

• • Hangarage is provided

    New aircraft are always welcome, both for private use or if you wish, as an addition to our Hire Fleet. Call the Office to discuss terms.

• • The Flying Club

    The Flying Club provides Flying Lessons and Ground School for PPL (Private Pilot’s License) and CPL (Commercial Pilot’s License) – learn to fly with the best!
